GERMANS AND AUSTRIANS PASSENGERS ON RELIANCE FIRST VISIT TO DOMINION Prominent arrivals in Auckland yesterday by the Hanibiirg-Amerika liner Reliance included many German and American visitors who are seeing New Zealand for the lirst time, although they have travelled widely in many parts of the world. Baroness .losefa von DobzennskiDobrzenicz, whose home is in Vienna, has travelled considerably in Europe, but considered that her present tour was one of the most interesting she had undertaken.

Mrs. B. V'oss, of Hamburg, who was accompanied by her niece, Mrs. A. Mikus, also of Hamburg, has visited many countries on a number of world cruises. She said that New Zealand was a long way from Germany, but nevertheless, its scenic attractions enjoyed a wide reputation even there. Accompanying her husband on a world cruise is Mrs. J. Hasslaeher. Her husband is chairman of the board of directors of the Deutsche Bank.

Acting as a hostess for tho European traveller,s is Baroness Mario Louise Koskull, whose home was formerly in Russia. Baroness Koskull, who has been travelling on the Reliance for tho past two years, is on her second trip round the world.
