SCHOOLBOYS' TOUR

VISIT TO WAITAKERES DEPARTURE ON MONDAY Appreciation of the scenery and views from the Waitakere Ranges was expressed by members of the party of visiting English public school boys after being taken for a motor drive along the Waitakere scenic road yesterday afternoon. Only some of the members of the party spent the afternoon in this way, others choosing to visit the city on shopping excursions. Arrangements for to-day include an invitation to five of the boys to lunch at the clubhouse of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, <ifter which they will leave 011 a week-end cruise in the Hauraki Gulf. Other arrangements will be in the hands of the boys' hostesses, and to-night a dance in their honour will bo given by the Auckland Aero Club.

Divine service will bo held to-morrow morning at the Devonport naval base, from which the party will go to the Mangere Aerodrome for lunch. In the afternoon Lord Malcolm Douglas-Ham-ilton, who made preliminary arrangements in New Zealand for the party, will give a display of aerobatics. He practised at the aerodrome yesterday in the club's Tiger Moth machine.

Monday will be the last day spent by the boys in Auckland, and it has been tentatively arranged as a free day. in the afternoon they will leave for Sydney by the Awatea.
