TERRITORIAL TRAINING

COMPOSITE MOUNTED RIFLES CAMP AT HOPUHOPU [from oub, own coiirespondent] HAMILTON. Friday The motorised squadron of the First Composite Mounted Rifles, under Captain It. It. McGregor, is at present undergoing training at Hopuhopu. The squadron consists of four troops, comprising machine-gun, motor-cycle and light gun detachments, and is drawn from Waiuku, Clevedon, Auckland, Okoroiro and North Auckland. Tactical exercises will be carried out to-morrow and a display will be made in Hamilton. There will be a sports l meeting on Saturday afternoon, and a church parade on Sunday morning. The squadron will leave camp next Wednesday.
