WAIKATO SCHOOLS ELECTION OF OFFICERS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday A sound financial position and excellent prospects for another successful annual tournament were the outstanding features reported at the seventh annual meeting of the Waikato Secondary Schools' Athletic Sports Association. Mr. W. Fraser, principal of the Hamilton Technical High School, presided. It was decided to hold this yav's tournament at Hinsmoa Park on April 6, when the record number of nine South Auckland secondary schools will compete.

Officers were elected as follows.- —President, Mr. W. G. S. Smith, headmaster Waihi High School: vice-presidents, Messrs. J. G. Catron, H. D. Tait, W. Fraser, F. A. Mason, R, C. D. Lightbonrne, W. H. Hoult, H. Fawcett and Bro. Remigius; committee, Mr. W. Fraser, chairman, Bros. Rimigius, Aloysius, Messrs. Tait, Nelson, Malcolm, Lightbonrne, Day, Arbuckle, Merrick, Freeman, Wilcox.
