TRESPASS BY DANCERS
PROPERTY ADJOINING HALL COMPLAINT AT FRANKTON [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday The entry into the adjoining property of- a private hotel of people attending dances on Wednesday nights at the Frankton Town Hall was the subject of a complaint by the proprietress of the hotel in a letter received by the Hamilton Borough Council last night. She stated that on one occasion the pegs were pulled from clothes 011 the line, while she had also had to chase people out of the laundry. She had to seek the assistance of the police on several occasions, and she requested the council to require the erection of a trellis fence between the properties. Mr. H. M. Hammond said that if the management of one public dance at the Frankton Hall could control its patrons, there was no reason why another should not do the same. If it was unable to do so, and if people trespassed on other property, it seemed to be a matter for the police. Tho complaint was referred to the caretaker of the hall for a report.
