Mrs. H. Barton, of Arney Road, Remuera, is at Glenalvon. Mrs. J. Fitzsimons, Remuera Road, will leave to-day on a visit to Napier. M .iss Mona Blair, of Gisborne, arrived in Auckland on Monday for a short visit. Mrs. Eliot Davis, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, has. returned from a visit to Rotorua. M iss May Harvie, of Stanley Point I Road, has returned from a visit to the South Island. Mrs. Norman Hayward, St. Stephens Avenue, Parnell, has returned from a visit to Wellington. M rs. J. A. C. Allum, of Curran Street, Heme Bay, has returned from a motortour in the South Island. Mrs. F. E. Carr and Miss Carr, late of Papatoetoe, will leave from Wellington by the Rangitiki to-day for London. Miss Laura Mappin, of Mountain Road, Epsom, will leave on Tuesday by the Awatea for England via Singapore. Mrs. J. P. Wheelans, of Avonside, Christehurch, is visiting her mother, Mrs. F. M. Worrall, Onslow Road, Epsom. Mrs. S. Playne (England). Mrs. W. Johnstone (Dunedin) and Mrs. Simpson (Wellington) are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. 0. H. Reeves and Miss J. 0. Beeves, of Sydney, arrived by the Mariposa on Monday to spend a holiday in Auckland. M rs. Walter Ambury, of Pukenui Road, Epsom, who has been visiting Wellington and New Plymouth, has returned home. Mrs. Alan Donald, Arney Road, Remuera, will arrive on Tuesday by the Awatea from England, where she has been for the past year. Mrs. Duthie, of Heretaunga, Wellington. who has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Abbott, of Manukau Road, Epsom, has returned home. Mrs. S. Cordner and Mrs. W. Byrne, who have been the guests of Mrs. W. Park, Shackleton Road, Mount Eden, left for Rotorua yesterday en route to Taranaki. M rs. A. R. Bunny, Masterton, is visiting Auckland and will leave to-day for Takapuna, where she will stay with her daughter, Mrs. J. Stockman, Clifton Road. Mrs. Rona Olsen (California), Mrs. A. Sindral (Timaru), Mrs. F. Goulding (Dargaville) and the Misses N. Buchanan and K. Hay (Canterbury) are at the Station Hotel. Miss Stephanie Seagram, of Canada, who has been the guest of Mrs. K. B. Myers, East Tamaki, for several months, will leave on Tuesday by the Awatea for her home, visiting Singapore and England on the way. Members of the Auckland Diocesan Mothers' Union held their quarterly meeting this week when Mrs. Averill presided. A report of her tour of the /North among the Maoris was given by Mrs. R. G. Coats, who said she had visited 30 branches and found much enthusiasm at the meetings, which were attended by men as well as women.
