DAMAGES AWARDED
[BV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] NAPIER, Wednesday A verdict for plaintiff for £235 8s 6d special damages and £.')oo general damages was given by a jury in the Supreme Court in a claim in which Norman Walker sought to recover from Matthew Fcrrick £lflOO general and £2;io 8s Od special damages for damage to bis motor-car and injuries received in a motor accident at Hastings on May 16, 1937. Liability was not disputed by defendant, and the only question was what damages should be awarded.
