OPOTIKI INTERESTS

DANCE AT WOODLANDS The Woodlands Hall was the scene of a bright and successful function when the Opotiki Agricultural and Pastoral Association held its annual dance. There was a large attendance. Three items were presented by visiting Highland dancers, and novelty dances wtfre also held. Supper was served by the ladies of Woodlands, whom Mr. Shove thanked on behalf of tho show committee. Miss M. Lawrence, of Wellington, is visiting Opotiki, and is the guest of Mrs. Dickson, Richard Street. Mrs. E. J. Donald, who has been visiting Mrs. G. Munro, has returned to Auckland. Mrs. A. 0. Rae, of Vincent Avenue, is spending a holiday in Opotiki as the guest of Mrs. S. W. Jephson, Waioeka Road. Mrs. W. Wilson, of Auckland, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. Moody, Tablelands. Miss Florence Bently, of Cambridge, is the guest of Mrs. F. G. Hannah, Lower Waiawa.
