HEALTH INSURANCE

PLANS OF GOVERNMENT PRIME MINISTER'S OUTLINE The intention of the Government to submit; to a special committee of Parliament the national health insurance legislation as well as that relating to national superannuation, before they were put through the House, was made clear yesterday by the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, on his arrival from the south by train. Mr. Savage said that the order or reference would be sufficiently wide to enable all interests concerned to be heard. The committee's report would he considered by the Government, and legislation would be drafted for enactment during the final session of the present- Parliament.
