WATERSI DER'S DEATH FORMER RUGBY PLAYER [BY TELEGRAPH OWX CORRESPONDENT] "WHAKATANE, Monday Collapsing after relieving another waterside worker who had found the heat too trying, Mr. Aiden Stewart, aged 34, died this morning shortly after being taken from the hold! of the Northern Shipping Company's vessel Otimai, Mr. Stewart was working with others unloading concrete and appeared well up to the time of his collapse, which was not seen by his companions. He suffered a deep cut on the forehead and died before a doctor could be secured. Mr. Stewart, who is survived by a wife and three children, was educated at Te Ante College. He was a former Bay of Plenty Rugby representative and a prominent rower and tennis player.
