MUNICIPAL ELECTION
CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION Tito campaign organisation of the Citizens ami Ratepayers' Association for the approaching municipal election is now under way, according to a statement made by the chairman, Mr. W. R. Fee, following a meeting of the association yesterday. Ho said that Air. Trevor S. Withers had boon appointed organising secretary. Sir. Fee said a representative committee of over 60 was established, and this was now proceeding to appoint sub-committees for the advancement of the campaign, "it is intended," he added, "to hold meetings in every part of the city area, and live or six small group committees will be formed to wait upon supporters in eacli district and assist in the formation of local executives." A temporary finance committee had also been appointed and it would immediately initiate a campaign for election funds. The committee would be permanently constituted at the general meeting to be held On Thursday.
