J. Taylor and another, to a total value of £3l 10s. Ho was committed" to the Supreme Court for sentence. Accused was left to look after a property while the occupants were on holiday. He broke into a dressing room, stole the money, and went to Palmerston North and Ellerslie races, spending most of the money. He then decided to stage a burglary. Ho injured himself on the face and telephoned the police to come quickly, as burglars were in the house. The police found him lying on the floor, apparently semiconscious.
