NEW OFFICE BUILDING SCHEME FOR DARGAVILLE [BT TELEGRAPH —OWN fcoKEESPOXDESIC] DARGAVILLE, Friday Information that the North Auckland Electric-Power Board has acquiri?d a quarter-acre section at the corner of Normanby and Ponto Streets, Dargjarille, and that tenders are to be called for the erection of an office building w.us contained in a statement made by the chairman, Mr. J. A. McLean, at tlie monthly meeting of the board to-day. The new building, which will be of reinforced concrete, will be sufficient for the board's requirements for some considerable time and is planned 60 that ( it can be extended to provide for more offices if required in future. Sketch plans have already been prepared by the board's architect, Mr. A. P. Morgan.
£90,000 LOAN PROPOSAL THAMES VALLEY BOARD [froji ottr own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE. Friday In order to extend the supply of electricity within its district, _ the Thames Valley Power Board proposes to borrow a further £90,000. The board will at its meeting on March 1 consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to such a loan.
