WEDDING
HALLS—RAMSEY Tho wedding was celebrated at the Richmond Avenue Baptist Church, on January 5, of Lorraine, only daughter of Mrs. E. P. Ramsey, late of Whangarei, and Franklin Robert Stanley, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Halls, of Grey Lynn. The Rev. J. Hiddlestone officiated, assisted by Mr. Chant. Blue and pink hydrangeas, with asparagus fern, decorated the church. Tho bride, who was given awav by Mr. Frank Seecombe, of Hamilton, wore a graceful gown of magnolia satin, and carried si bouquet of cream waterlilies. The bridesmaid was Miss A. Seccombe, who wore a frock of powder blue georgette, with touches of pink, and carried a bouquet to tone. Three little flower girls, June, Pat and Nolene Cleaver, were frocked in pale pink muslin, and carried baskets of blue and pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. H. Halls, as best man, and Mr. J. Cleaver and Mr.. A. Stafford were the ushers. A reception was afterward held at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Ramsey, who received her guests wearing a frock of biscuit georgette. The bridegroom's mother was wearing a frock of brown lace and georgette. Also present were the grand-parents of tho bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Halls of Ponsonby. The bride travelled wearing a black model frock, relieved with a spray of white flowers.*
