BOTH LEGS FRACTURED
WOMAN DIES IN HOSPITAL' CAR HITS TELEGRAPH POLE [bt telegraph—press associate;] ■WELLINGTON, Monday As a result of injuries received when a car in which she was a passenger struck a telegraph pole at Upper Hurt shortly after midnight on Saturday, Miss Alison Burch. of Eastbourne, died in the Wellington Hospital at 3.20 p.m. to-day. The driver of the car, Mr. Charles Xaughton Derek Taylor, ot Kast bourne, was discharged from hospital this evening. * Mr. Taylor -was driving southward and just before coming into the main part of the township the car left the road and struck a telegraph pole. Miss Bnreh had both legs fractured. Mr. Taylor received a severe cut on the wrist and head injuries. The car was wrecked. Both the injured were taken to hospital.
