BRANCH AT GREEN LANE ft. CLUB MEMBERS ENTERTAINED The bridge club members of the Green Lane branch of the Community Sunshine Association were recently entertained at a morning tea party by tbo president, Mrs. E. S. Winks, at her home ill Karetu Road, One Tree Hill. The committee members and the bridge players were thanked by Mrs. Winks lor their support during the year, and as there wore several new members present, the. aims and objects of the. society were outlined. A cheque for £lO was handed to the president by the patroness, Airs. Wallis. The money came from, the "Jonnie Mite" box which is always placed at the gate of Mrs. Wallis' home. Contributions are made by members of the public who visit her gardens. , The final bridge afternoon for this branch took place at the home of Mrs. 1). W. Palmer, Nolan Road, Green Lane.
