FRIENDS ENTERTAINED

AN ENJOYABLE TEA PARTY Purple and mauve Japanese irises, low bowls of sweet peas, roses, gerberas and stock, made very attractive decorations in the lounge of the Lyceum Club yesterday, when Mrs. Douglas Gray entertained a number of her friends to morning tea. Mrs. Gray received her guests wearing an ensemble suit of black heavy crepe with a vari-coloured blouse and wide-brimmed black Baku hat, relieved with a cluster of flowers to match the blouse.
