ENCOURAGEMENT OF SAVING SHOP AND FACTORY WORKERS [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION ] WELLINGTON, Friday Regulations providing for the establishment of "thrift clubs'' in account with the Post Cilice Savings Bank are notified in the Gazette. The purpose of the regulations ig to enable workers in shops and factories to save small amounts out of their regular wages and, through trustees, bank them to accumulate for an agreed period. Under the new scheme firms or trustees of eliVbs are relieved of the work and responsibility of keeping the accounts, which will be handled with greater ease bv the machine system used in the post office.
