MRS. THOMAS HARDY WIDOW OF NOVELIST LONDON, Oct. IS The death has occurred of Mrs. Thomas Hardy, widow of the former well-known British novelist. .Mrs. Hardy was the second wife of the novelist, who died on January 1, 1928. Formerly she was Miss Florence Emily Dugdale. She also was of a literary bent and among her writings was a biography of Hardy's early life
