PUPILS OF THE Y.M.C.A.

Pupils of the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium, ranging from small boys six years old to city business men, took part in tho Y.M.C.A. gymnastic display which was presented in tho institution's gymnasium for the first time last night before a large audience. Produced bv *\' r - ,r - P\ Bcmham, physical director, the exhibition produced much outstanding gymnastic work. Among the most spectacular items was series of pyramids by the boys, while turns which would compare favourably with those presented by professional artists were acrobatic skating by the Buchanan trio, tap dancing by Messrs. Wicks and Stevens, and remarkable feats of hand balancing by Messrs. McComish, Sutton and Bonham. Wrestling and boxing exhibitions arranged by Messrs. V. Rawle and D. C'leverley, instructors, also were presented.

Electric club swinging by Mr. C. D. Campbell was a popular item, as was a fine display of qcrobatics by three seniors and two boys. The humour of the evening was "provided by Mr. C. Curtice, whose clowning, both on and off skates, was appreciated by the audience. The display will be repeated to-night.
