MOTHERS' UNION MEETING

The monthly meeting of St. Peter's, Takapuna, branch of the Mothers' Union was held on Monday. A short service was conducted in the church, Sister Margaret, of the Brett Memorial Home, officiating in the absence of the vicar. Mrs. Ellis was at the organ. Following tho service the members adjourned to the parish hall, Mrs. Hill Johnson presiding. Opportunity was taken to welcome tho enrolling member, Mrs. Hill Johnson, after her recent illness. Musical items were given by Miss C. Millen, who was accompanied by Mrs. Hill Johnson. Afternoon tea was perved, the hostesses being Mesdames Burton, Wright, Eade and Buckland.
