Laurenson, Commissioner of Transport, returned to Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. J. C. Barclay and Mr. A. C. A. Sexton, M.P.'s, were '- passengers for Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. V. J. Larner was a passenger for Wellington by the afternoon expresg yesterday. He was accompanied by Mrs. Larner. The Hons. C. J. Carrington, T. Blood, worth and D. Wilson, M.L.C.'s, left for Wellington by the limited express ' last night. Mr. H. A. Beauchamp. managingdirector of Kodak ("Sow Zealand), Limited, returned to Wellington by the afternoon express yesterday. The Very Rev. Father H V. Bird. C.S.S.R., Superior of the I'edemptonst Order in New Zealand, returned to Wellington by the afternoon express yesterday. Captain Dai Evans, formerly chief accountant to the Rhodesian Railways, i will arrive at Auckland from the. East ; by the Van Rees.on December 9 for a ; two months' visit to New Zealand. Mr. J. M. Elliffe. Mr. ED. Wilkinson and Mr. D. H. Steen left bv the limited express last night for Wellington to attend a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, Mayor of Wellington. and chairman of directors of the Now Zealand Centennial Exhibition Company, Limited, and Mr. C. P. Hainsworth, general manager of the company, arrived from Wellington by air yesterday afternoon. They are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. Hislop will return to Wellington by air to-day.
