LONDON. Sept. 28

A message from Paris states that the British Secretary of State for War, Mr. L. Hore-Belisha. called on the Duke of Windsor at the Hotel Maurice to-day. This is the first meeting between a British Cabinet Minister and the former King since his abdication. According to the Paris correspondent df the Daily Mail. Mr. HoreBelisha, who has been attending the French Army manoeuvres, spent an hour with the Duke. The Daily Herald says that although the meeting was informal, it was certainly approved b.v the Prime Minister, Mr. Chamberlain.
