Craven, Springbok scrum-half, sending out one of Itis long, swift, dive passes, tho scene on the All Blacks' goal line as Bergh went* over near tho posts to score South Africa's second try, and a panoramic view of Eden Park, crammed by tho vast concourso of spectators, as the teams lined out in tho centre before tho start of play. Tho Springboks' sweeping victory is discussed in several exclusive articles in tho athletic pages. Reviewing tho game, Mark Nicholls, noted international and New Zealand selector, writes:—"This match was a triumph, both individually and collectively, for the South Africans. In each position, and as a team, tho Springboks were immeasurably superior. They may bo tho best team that South Africa has ever produced; they are, I think, tho equal of any All Black team that I havo seen or been associated with."
