Kidd. The match was won by Kidd, 3 up and to play. The runner-up in reaching the final gave an outstanding performance for a 17-year-old schoolboy. The final of the senior championship of the Waihi Oolf Club was played on Saturday, when R. G Cullen defeated Henderson, G and over a 27-hole course. Rapson won the junior championship by beating McDermott, 2 and 1, over a 27-hole course. The intermediate championship has still to be decided between Ludwig and Parker. Other members of the club played a Stablefora bogey match, the following cards being handed in:—Stainton, 3*l; Cairns, 31; Boyd, 33; T. Clarke, 33; Barroclough, 33; Smith, 32; R. Clark, 32; Ilollis, 31; North, 20; McDonald, 29; Morgan, 29; Rapson, 28; Ludwig, 27. Cullen has won the senior championship 13 times, the last three in succession.
