LANDSLIDE IN STORM SOME OF WALLS DEMOLISHED [by telegraph—OWN correspondent! THAMES, Tuesday During last night's south-easterly gale a house owned and ..occupied by Mr. and Mrs. R. Peckham was partially wrecked by several t.ons of rock, spoil and logs which came down from the point of a hill at the back of the house. The mass of debris tore the walls from one of the rooms and fdled the kitchen. The washhouso was shifted several feet and was turned completely round. Mr. and Mrs. Peckham will be heavy losers. Debris lies round the house to a depth of several feet.
