REDUCTION IN CHARGES Advice that tho borough's street lighting charges for the year beginning on April 1, 1937, had been reduced by £361. was received from tho Auckland Electric-Power Board hy tho Mount Albert Borough Council at its meeting last night. The account for the year beginning April 1, 1937, was reported to be £2448, and for the year ended March 1 31, £2809. The Mayor, Mr. 11. A. Anderson, said the saving should be referred to the works and lighting committee for report. Tho lighting of parks had been under consideration, and the Burplus perhaps might help tho project.
