; EAST TO WEST JOURNEY CAMBRIA'S" RECORD TIME British "Wireless RUGBY, August 29 The fastest east to west air crossing of the North Atlantic recorded so far during the present series of survey flights was accomplished on Friday by Imperial Airways' flying-boat Cambria. She left Foynes at 5.39 a.m. and landed at Botwood, Newfoundland, 14 hours 24 minutes later. Tho average 6peed was approximately 140 miles an hour. • The 7 Cambria will fly to Montreal, New York, Ottawa, Toronto, Windsor and Hamilton before .making a west .to east night crossing of the Atlantic on September 8.
