BARONET'S DEATH

SIR WILFRID LAWSON EXPIRES WHILE BATTING LONDON, August 29 The death is reported of Sir Wilfrid Lawson. Sir Wilfrid died while batting in a cricket match. Sir Wilfrid Lawson, third baronet, was born on October 21, 1862, the eldest son of the second baronet. He succeeded his father in 1906. He was a Liberal and represented the Cockermouth division of Cumberland in the House of Commons, 1910-16. The heir to the baronetcy is deceased's nephew, Mr. Hilton Lawson, born in 1895.
