Curtis, presided over a (rood attendance. in his annual report, the president said (lie membership of clubs affiliated to' tho centro had increased from 533 to, 500. which was a record for tho centre since iis inception. The year opened with a credit halanco of KHI and closed with a credit balance of £2l. , Tho election of officers resulted ns follows; President, Mr. G. H. Wansbone-(Dar-gaville); vice-president, Mr. B. R. Miller (Whangaroi); treasurer, Mr. W. C. Cooto (Whangaroij; secretary. Mr. E.. B. Mooro (Kensington); auditor. Mr. R. ft. Roseman (Whangarei); executive cominittoo, Messrs. J. A. West (Dargavillo), T. J. Evans (Whangarei), ('. V. Stringer (Kensington), A. 11. Curtis (Kensington), and ,T. N, Stark (Hikurangi). The general committee comprises, tho members of the executive committee and Messrs. T. H. Steadman (Kensington) and S. Blanshard (Wiiangarei). It was decided to recommend the executive to consider holding an open singles tournament, immediiitely following (lie annual full-rink tournament. II was also decided to recommend that a team from tho executive visit every dub within the centre once during the season. A vote of appreciation was accorded Mr. T. 11. Wilson, the retiring president, who has occupied the position during the past four years. He intimated that ho was not prepared to conlinuo in office.
