BRITISH YACHT ENDEAVOUR SEQUEL TO OPERATION (Received , July 9, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. July 8 The death has occurred of Mr. McPhee, navigating officer on board Mr. T. 0. M. Sopwith's yacht Endeavour 11., which recently sailed across the Atlantic to take part in the races for the America's Cup. Mr. McPhee underwent an operation for gastric ulcers on June 29.
