Miss Freda Bates, of Malfroy Road, has.returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs J., Alexander, of Whakauo Street, left Rotorua on Monday for Australia, where she will spend a holiday with her ,. nil _ Mrs. H. E. Goodwin, of Old Taupo Road, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. C. Young, of Hindinoa Street, will leave Auckland to-day by the Mariposa on an extended visit to bydnev and Melbourne. Mrs. E. Galloway, who has been spending a few months "in New Zealand, is returning t'ft her home in Sydney by the Mariposa to-day.. Miss Hillv Keith-Lindsay and Miss Pax Lindsay, of To Aroha, spent the week-end in -Rotorua and were tin* quests of Mrs W. Keith-Lindsay, of Whakauo Street. Mrs W. Keith-Lindsay, of \\ hakaue Street, is spending a few days m Hamilton. „ Mrs. C. A. Bayley, of Tauranga, is visiting Rotorua. , . The Misses Heather, Quman unci Brown, of London, have been staying at the Chateau Tongariro during the past week. . , A pleasant afternoon was held by the gardening circle in the \\omens Club rooms on Monday. Mrs. lyson presided. Small posies were made b\ the members under the supervision of Mrs. Peace. The hostesses wero Mrs. A. T. Coates and Mrs. Cooncy.
