COMMUNITY SUNSHINE

EFFORT TO RAISE FUNDS Beautiful spring flowers and foliage brightened tho rooms at Sunshine Houso yesterday when a social afternoon, arranged by Mrs. A. Turner, was held. Assisting Mrs. Turner was a committee of ladies and the resulting funds were for tho benefit of the Community Sunshine stall at tho Winter Show, of which she is tho organiser. Tho president of tho auxiliary, Mrs. W. Champneys Bright, received the guests. Items were given by Mrs. Humfrey Gordon and Air. P. H. Hobday, who sang, and Mr. J. Alien, who gave recitations. Tho accompanist was Mrs. Reginald Rood. The committee comprised: Mrs. L. A. Kady, Mrs. A. H. Cavaye, Mrs. E. J. Sexton, Mrs. T. T. Garland, Mrs. H. V. Gormaek and Mrs. J. A. Downie.
