AUCKLAND PROSECUTIONS OVER 60 MOTORISTS FINED Breaches of the traffic regulations were tho grounds for prosecutions against over 60 motorists in tho Magistrate's Court yesterday. Sub-Inspec-tor Fox submitted charges on behalf of the police before Mr. W. 11. McKean, S.M., and the superintendent of traffic, Mr. C. Bland, prosecuted on behalf of tho City Traffic Department before Mr. C. R. Orr, S.M.

Charged with dangerous driving, Norman Wedgwood was fined £2 b.v Mr. McKean. Wedgwood was also fined 10s for having no warrant of fitness for his car, and 5s for having no warning device. Robert John Ojsson was fined £1 10s for dangerous driving and 10s for having no driver's licence. For having defective brakes Walter Haycock was fined £2 10s by Mr. Orr Walker. Bruco Teinoni was fined £2 10s for speeding. Fines of 5s or 10s wero imposed on 30 motorists who wero charged with not having drivers' licences. Failure to produce their licences cost six motorists 5s each. A miscellany of other offences wero punished by fines ranging from 5s to £2.
