Sj rj —The splendid articles on the above are worthy of all praise. They leave ono astounded that it should not have taken pre-eminence over all railway construction works. 1 suppose—considering there are no engineering difficulties to overcome—that with a practical Public Works Minister at the head, who knows the value of machinery, the project could be completed in two years? Some parts of the Canadian Pacific Railway were laid at two miles per day, 1 believe. East Coast Completion.
