BRITISH AMATEUR TOURNEY THE QUARTER-FINALS REACHED i (Received May 28, 5,5 p.m.) LONDON. May 27 The last eight in the British amateur golf championship include the English champion Penniftk, who defeated Levinson, the most dangerous of the Americans, and Andrew Jamieson, who once beat the famous Bobby Jones, Nevertheless, the Americans Wehrle and Charman survive, and also Sweeny and Stowe, the artisan golfer. Those defeated include T. A. Bourn, English amateur champion in 1930, and C. K, Olander, South African amateur champion in 1932 and 1934.
