THE CORONATION
ARRIVAL OF PHOTOGRAPHS FIRST PUBLICATION TO-DAY FURTHER SERIES ON MONDAY Flown across the world in just over a fortnight, in spite of delays owing to bad weather, the first full selection of photographs of the Coronation ceremonies in London is published in the Herald this morning. Considerable difficulties were experienced in bringing the pictures by air from England to Australia, but they arrived in Sydney last week and were sent on to New Zealand by the Maunganui, which arrived at Wellington yesterday. From Wellington the pictures were brought to Auckland by aeroplane and arrived in time for publication in this morning's issue. The series of illustrations published in the Herald to-day does not represent the full range of the pictorial record of the Coronation. Further pictures will be published in Monday s issue and an extensive collection of Coronation photographs will be an outstanding feature of the pictorial section of The Weekly News next week.
