MARAMARUA HUNT
PUKEKAWA WARD MEET The Maraniarua Hunt, Pukekawa ward, held a meet on Wednesday. The hounds threw off in Mr. D. 0. Lindberg's property and put up a hare in the gully. The course ran into Mr. L. Lindberg's and Mr. N. Logan's, and back across Mr. 0. Lindberg's. The hare was finally lost after a fast run of about three miles in the gully at the back of Mr. 0. Lindberg's. Two short runs followed and the hounds were then whipped in. The members of the hunt were entertained in the hall at afternoon tea. Among the visitors were Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Smith, of Pakuranga, and Miss K. Brooks.
