BRITISH EARLDOM
TITLE DEEMED EXTINCT - NEW FACTOR ARISES ,/ LONDON, May 27 When the Earl of Londesborough died in April, aged 42, he left no son. The earldom consequently has been presumed to be extinct and the lesser title of Baron Londesborough has been regarded as having passed to the late earl's cousin, Captain E. W. Denison. Lord Londesborough's widow, however, anticipates the birth of a child in a few months' time. If it is a son he will assume all the titles of the late earl. If a girl she will have the status " of an earl's daughter with the prefix "Lady" and Captain Denison will bo, as he is regarded now. Baron Londesborough.
