Eirchall, of Stanley Point. Miss Joan Goodwin, Rangitoto Terrace, Milford, left by the Niagara this week for Suva. Miss Constance Morice, of Wellington, is leaving this week on a visit to China and Japan. Mrs. Loftus H. Otway, Arney Road, Itemuera, is visiting Mrs. Miles Otway, at Te Awamutu. Mrs. K. E. Luke, of Wellington, left Auckland last evening by the Awatea on a holiday visit to Sydney. Mrs. N. S. Chalmers, of Milford, left on Tuesday by the Niagara for Suva, where she will reside in future. Mrs. H. W. Lloyd, of Sydney, left by the Awatea last evening on her return from a visit to the Dominion. Mrs. W. It. C. Oswin, accompanied by her husband, returned to Wellington this week from a visit to England. Lady Sinclair-Lockhart, who recently returnee from abroad, will take up her residence in Mac Murray Road in a fortnight. Miss Jocelyn Archev, who recently joined the teaching staff of St. Peter's School, Cambridge, is spending the vacation iu Auckland.

Mrs. F. Neilson, of North Auckland, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. N. K. O'Brien, Island Bay, Wellington, will return home this week. Miss E. Ilippon, who has been the guest of Mrs. L. H. Hall, Arney Road, Remuera, left yesterday bv the Awatea on her return to Australia. Miss M. Tennant, who has spent the past 18 months in New Zealand, will leave by the Akaroa from Wellington on her return to England this week. At the Station Hotel are: —Mrs. Studholme, Mrs. Ronnie (Christchurch). Mrs. Walker, Miss Bates (Wellington), Mrs. Morton and Miss Morton (Marton). Miss N. H. Connolly, of Auckland, will be in London for a few months before touring the United Kingdom and visiting the Continent, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. Miss P. Hefean, the well-known golfer, who is a country member of the Manawatu Ladies' Golf Club, and who last year visited Australia as a member of the Tasman Cup team, has left Wanganui to reside in Hastings. At a meeting of the Cheerio Club, presided over by Mrs. Mann, a competition was Avon by Mrs. Atford. The hostesses were Mrs. Irvine and Mrs. Atford. Club members were also the guests of Mrs. Mann at a Coronation party held at her residence. Mrs. T. Waddell, of New Plymouth, has been invited by the Ladies' Golf Union to play in a tournament against the Parliamentary women's team. Play will be at Stoke Poges. There will be nine players on either side, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. Mrs. E. Cassels-Brown, of Auckland, is on a visit to Bath, her birthplace. After May she will be making a round of visits to numerous centres, including Birmingham and Manchester. In August she will leave for New Zealand, wrote our London correspondent on May 1.

Miss T. Brodie, of Auckland, will go to Scotland after the Coronation to visit relatives. This trip will be followed by an extensive tour of the Continent, the countries to be visited including Germany, Austria and Hungary, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. Miss M. Barrer was among those taking part in the week-end conference of the British Christian Council for International Friendship, Life and Work Youth Committee meeting, which took place at Hillcroft College, Surbiton, Surrey, on April 10 and 11, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. Miss Elsa M. Thomas, late secretary of the Overseas League, Paris Centre, will leave for a trip to New Zealand on April 29, going out by the Rotorua. She is looking forward with zest to seeing many friends after an absence of 16 years from New Zealand, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. Miss M. Burn-Murdoch, of Auckland, and her cousin, Miss Stella Ball (Bay of Plenty), are travelling together, wrote our London correspondent on May 1. They are now on a short visit to relatives in Surrey and Worcester, and after the Coronation they will spend June in Scotland, then mallo a Continental tour.
