CONCERT AT KAWHIA

AID MEDICAL ASSOCIATION A successful concert was held in Ward's Hall, Kawhia, last evening, local and visiting artists assisting in making the function a huge success. As a result of this effort, the Kawhia Medical Association will benefit by the sum of about £25. items were given by: Misses Bell (vocal duet and wand drill); Mrs. Dallas (soprano solo); Miss i). Lambier (tap dance); Mr. F. Frean and Mr. J. N. Culley (baritone solos); Mr. W. Rogers (humorous numbers at the piano); Naomi Juvenile Native Troupe (poi dances and haka); Messrs. F. Frean, M. P. Goldsbro and Master Rex Piggales (gymnastic display). A oneact plav "World Without Men" was presented by Mcsdames W. W. Davies, 1). S. Morris, H., Robertson, R. Ward, Dcarlovo and Misses A. MocKenzie and G. Matheson, and a sketch by Mesdames Thomas, Frean, Dearlove, Miss M. Thomas, Messrs. R. Fussell and F. Frea n.
