CORONATION DANCE
ST. Al DAN'S SOCIAL CLUB

To open the 1937 season, the St. Aidan's Social Club held a very successful Coronation dance in the Masonic Hall. Claudelands. Striking decorations had been carried out in a colour scheme of red, white and blue streamers and balloons. Suspended from the ceiling, a canopy swayed above the dancers while the walls were arranged with flags. Golden crowns added to the appropriate decorative scheme. The hostesses were Mrs. G. A. Crossman, who wore a gown of green ripple satin and beige lace, and Mrs. AY. H.
IHa leeway, froeked in black and rose ninon and black coatee. The ladies' committee comprised Miss Leonie Swarbrick, who wore rose tinsel m eta lasso; Miss Gwen Snell, in apple green cliarmense and black and gold Horal satin coatee; Miss M. Forster, black crepe and crimson velvet coatee. Among those present were: —Mrs. IT. Whitehead, Miss B. St. Paul, Miss N. Grossman, Miss J'. Kear, Miss K. Blakewav, Miss L. Forster, Miss M.
