ST. HELIERS CROQUET

CLOSING AFTERNOON HELD The closing down function of the St. Heliers Bay Croquet Club took the form of a progressive afternoon held on the club's lawns. Owing to the indisposition of the president,- Mrs. Biggs (vice-president), presided. Tea was served in the pavilion, following which tho prizes and trophies for the season were distributed. Among those present were Mesdanies Carter, Cracknel], Keyes, Diamond, Biggs, Cole, Inglis, King, lloget, Hubber, Gohlsboro', Wright, Horspool, Dunn, Clark, Russell, Birks, Negus, Hayes, Burnside, Laslett, Millington, Moodie, Gisby, Thompson, White, Boyce and Miss Appleyard.
