FOUR VEHICLES INVOLVED TWO PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION J CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday Three motor-cars and a motor-truck were involved in a series of accidents on the main north road half a mile north of Chancy's to-night. Two people were hurt and admitted to hospital and a child was cut by Hying glass. The accidents began when two cars going in opposite directions collided. They remained locked together on the road for 20 minutes, when a small bar came along and hit one of them. All three were stretched across the road for another 25 minutes when a light truck, containing two passengers, crashed into them.

The injured people taken to hospital were Mr. Vivian Were and his mother. The former had concussion and the latter was suffering from head injuries. Neithc. is in a serious condition.
