STABLEFORD BOGEY FINE CARD BY ROGERSON GROUP COMPETITION MATCHES The three days' tournament at the Titirangi Golf Club's links was commenced under ideal conditions on Saturday morning. In the opening Stableford bogey handicap, H. M. Rogerson returned an excellent card of 35, 7 —42, to win the A grade. J. Galloway followed with 38, 2—40. Rogerson's medal was 75 and Galloway's 72. The latter struck trouble at the Wrecker which cost him a 6. Rogerson repeated his success by winning the A grade bogey handicap with a card of 2 up. DUDLEY'S GOOD PERFORMANCE

An outstanding feature of Saturday's play at the Manukau Golf Club's links was the meritorious performance of M. DudUy, a voung member, who returned a gross score of 73, equal to the standard scratch score of the course. Dudley, whose handicap is 12, easily led the field in the first round or the Manurewa Cup.
