A 36 holes medal handicap eclectic competition was played over the last two Saturdays by members of the Glendowie Golf Club. The match was played in two divisions. The senior resulted in a tie between A. C. Johns and Dr. Claude Horton with a net 65. In the • count back Johns won. The junior division •was won by O. Jones, with a net 61. A medal handicap competition for the Mon- __ teitli Cup, last lour rounds played between " March 20 and May 2, resulted in a tie between J. D. Paterson and R. K. Davis, with aa aggregate 'of 273, an average of GBVJ. On a play-off "over a further 18 holes, Davis won with a net 69. A four-bajl best-ball bogey handicap played during the week-end was won by S. R. Self _ ;and J. R. McCrystall, with a card of 4 up. An open day will bo held 011 Coronation Day. A medal handicap will be played in conjunction with a Stableford bogey handicap in the morning.
