MANUFACTURE IN AUSTRALIA BRITISH FIRM'S DECISION SYDNEY, May 7 An aircraft manufacturing company, Airplane Construction and Development Proprietary, Limited, is to be formed in Australia with Sir Alan Cobham as one of the directors. This decision of the directors of Airspeed, Limited, England, was conveyed to Mr Stuart Doyle, who said that at fir«t the latest aeroplanes would be imported into Australia, and then the plant would be established for the assembly of machines rn the Commonwealth. As soon as the technical personnel had been built, up a factory would be equipped for the complete construction of machines. It is intended to establish a plant which will enable the company to supply commercial needs and tender also for the supply of machines- to the Royal Australian Air Fc-rce.
