TOWN CLERK'S THEFT
NINE MONTHS IN PRISON COUNCIL FUNDS STOLEN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] TIMARU, Friday The former town clerk of Geraldine, Lionel Francis Griinstone, who pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court last month to the theft of £206, the property of tho council, appeared in the Supreme Court to-day for sentence. A term of nine months' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed.
