PENSIONS SCHEME

LEGISLATION CERTAIN MR. FRASER'S ASSURANCE COMPLETION NEXT SESSION "There is 110 question whatever that the national health insurance and pensions legislation will be brought down and completed next session," said the Acting-Primr Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, iasfc night in answer to a telephone inquiry regarding a report that Parliament would probably be unable to deal with the legislation this year owing to pressure of .financial and other necessary business. "it is quite possible that as Parliament will be late in meeting this year and there is much ordinary work to be done, the session will have to be suspended just before the Christmas and New Year holidays and resumed in January or February," Mr. Fraser added, "but it is quite certain that the health insurance and pensions legislation will be put through before the session ends."
