RADIO IN LIBRARIES
LACK OF PUBLIC INTEREST Hie proposal of the Auckland City Council to instill radio receiving sets in the concert halls of public libraries was not supported by the public last night. A meeting was to have been held in the Grey Lynn Library hall to discuss the formation of a radio listeners' group, but no one attended, and the meeting was abandoned. Ihe speakers who were to have addressed the meeting were the chairman of. the Library Committee. Mr. X. V. Douglas, and the chief librarian, Mr, J--13a rr.
